Bruce Williams Woodfloors, is owned and operated guessed it,

Bruce Williams!

Here he is holding his indispensable wood scraper.

Bruce has been around the hardwood flooring business all his life. It was his father's trade. In fact the trade goes back in the family to Bruce's great grandfather Anthony Young, who operated a flooring business in San Francisco in the early 1900's.

Here's a picture of Anthony ready for work, bright and early one morning way back when.

Bruce earned an undergraduate degree in Zoology from UC Berkeley in 1975. A few years later he embarked upon his career as a flooring contractor. After 6 years in the flooring business he became a teacher, and for a decade taught elementary school in the East Bay. In 1994 Bruce again felt the tug of the floor sander and founded Bruce Williams Woodfloors.
